Bring JOY back to your life.

Welcome

Joyous is an at-home program that uses low-dose ketamine to support people living with depression and anxiety. You stay with your own provider, who prescribes and oversees your care. Joyous supplies your medication, checks in with you every day, and keeps your provider informed so your treatment can be adjusted to you.

You're joining through your clinic's partnership with Joyous — part of Joyous for Clinics, which brings the program to patients through their own trusted providers.

What patients report: across the platform, many patients report meaningful improvements in their depression and anxiety symptoms. Individual experiences vary and outcomes aren't guaranteed — your provider tracks your progress with you over time and adjusts your care to you. Program figures: Joyous PBC, as of May 2026. Treatment is by prescription from licensed medical providers; ketamine for mood is prescribed off-label.

How well does Joyous work?

Joyous tracks every patient's progress using two standard questionnaires — the PHQ-9 for depression and the GAD-7 for anxiety. Here is what a two-month look at 35,700 patients showed.

Based on two months of data from 35,700 patients. Remission means a final score below 5. A clinically meaningful improvement means dropping below the clinical cutoff (a score under 10) and improving by at least 5 points. "Got worse" means symptoms rising by 5 or more points.

Improvement that lasts

Most people notice the biggest change in the first week or two. In Joyous data, average depression and anxiety scores dropped quickly after starting and then kept easing gradually — settling into a lower range and holding steady across several months of treatment. Many patients move from the moderate or severe range toward mild or normal. Staying consistent with your daily doses and check-ins is what supports that steady progress.

A dose that's personalized to you

There is no single "right" dose. You start low, and your provider adjusts your amount over time to find what helps you most with the fewest side effects. After about six weeks, Joyous patients settle across a wide range of doses — most commonly around 60–100 mg, with some higher (up to 120 mg) and some lower. Your plan is built around you, not a one-size-fits-all dose.

About these numbers. They describe groups of patients over set time periods — they don't predict any one person's result. Individual experiences vary and no outcome is guaranteed. Your provider tracks your own PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores with you and adjusts your care as you go.
